May 18 (PNA) — After serving as Board of Elections Inspectors (BEIs)
last May 10 automated elections, the Department of Education (DepEd) on
Tuesday said it is deploying 75,000 teachers to conduct population
census in partnership with the National Statistical Coordination
Board-National Statistics Office (NSCB-NSO).
Secretary Mona Valisno said the department is deploying 60,000 field
enumerators (census takers, EN), 12,000 team supervisors (TS), and
3,000 census area supervisors (CAS) for the decennial (every-10-year)
